Stampscapes Scenery: Grand Falls

Nature is so inspiring! If your not familiar with Stampscapes Stamps, they are a series of stamps that you use to "build or create" a scene. My complete scene was created using 6 different stamps, each one adding that extra touch of detail.

Tip: After purchasing your Stampscapes stamps, stamp each one on a piece of acetate a bit larger than your stamp size with Stazon ink. This will allow you to layer your stamped images to see how you want your scene to look before you do your final stamping on card stock.

Once I have chosen the stamps that I will use to build my scene, I stamp my images with Momentum ink on Neenah or Adirondack alcohol ink card stock . Once the ink is fully dry, I begin coloring in my scene with various inks using a ColorBox Stylus with leaf foam tips. I slowly work the color on to my stamped image. The final touch on this scene is the glitter pen that I used to add flower accents on the bushes. My card is completed by framing my scene with coordinating layers of card stock and adding some dry embossing to the card base layer.

Now it's time for you to create a breathtaking scene!!
